Actually the main purpose of the Government who sanctioned two kumkhis elephants to the chadivayal camp was to scare away the wild animals which stray into human habitats.Though the use of Kumkhis Elephants against the wild elephants is likely to happen rarely. So the Forest Department thought of Starting an Elephant Safari using these Trained Elephants. Which will Boost Eco-Tourism in Coimbatore.
